Do one thing for yourself

I had a regular client come to me today after more than 6 weeks since her last lash fill appointment. She called me about a month ago and canceled her next appointment, because of some financial difficulties at home. Of course, with our current economic situation, that was completely understandable! But I always hate to loose a client. Well she called me last week to make another appointment because she really missed her lashes!
She decided that this was the one thing she wanted to keep for herself! She doesn't have fake nails, she colors her own hair, she doesn't wear expensive clothes, but she loves her lashes and how they make her feel! It also didn't help that just about her entire office comes to me for lashes so she's surrounded by them everyday as a reminder. By the end of her appointment she was feeling so much better with her brand new set of lash extensions.
So ladies, don't forget to do something for yourself. If you're a busy working Mom, or even a single college student, you need to have something that makes you feel good about you. If that's lash extensions, then great! Come and see me! If it's not, then find out what it is! When our wallets are a bit lighter is when it is even more important to find something for you! So find out what that is and go for it!

Introduction to new blog...

I decided to start a blog, to keep everyone up to date with new products, services, and information.
I've been back from vacation for 2 weeks now and it's still crazy and busy from taking a week off, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
My new shipment came in while I was out, so it was like Christmas when I got back! For those of you who don't know about my new products, I now have some thicker lashes, a sample of a new primer, and a brand new bottle of adhesive (which is always a good thing). So if you're one of my flashy ladies that thinks your lashes cannot possibly be thick enough, ask for the new thick lashes and see what you think. The primer is supposed to help the adhesive last longer. I have tried primer in the past and couldn't tell a difference. But since this was a sample from my supplier I am trying on everyone to see how it does.
I have had several new clients this week. A couple for new sets of lashes, because their friends came in for new lashes and they loved them! A couple of people from other lash places in town, that they weren't happy with and they were referred to me. That is always fun because they are always so happy when I get finished! One today who is a returning client for a new set because she had to wait so long to come back and see me. She really misses her lashes so I know she is so excited today!
I haven't had too many massages this week, but I expected to have lots of lash clients, still catching up from when I was gone.
Remember ladies that you can always choose to have a mini massage with your lash fill. For only $25 more, you get a 30 minute massage, of your choice (most choose a back massage). Then you get to lay down, relax, and have your lashes filled. So it's extra enjoyable!
